TWO BIG JON ELECTRIC DOWNRIGGERS with DUAL ROD HOLDERS REBUILT

Just finished another set… These are a couple of newer rebuilt Big Jon downriggers with multi-piece long arm booms. I don’t have images of what they were broken down to but if you search my past auctions you can see the extent to which I dismantle these before rebuild. This set is complete with Big Jon swivel bases, cast aluminum rod holder bases with ball holders, and Big Jon hold-down knobs… Hence the higher starting price. Here’s what’s been done. Motors were stripped down, re-rubberized, re-greased and sealed. One motor was a complete rebuild, from checking magnets/brushes on forward. New handles on both. Rod holder bases stripped down and refinished. Everything is cleaned as well as possible. Everything is greased where needed. New screws/bolts where needed (all stainless). New decals all around. Everything has been checked and is verified to be working. Where new parts were needed they were added, right down to the decals. Line on one is about 200′ of stainless. Line on the other is about 275′ of coated stainless. All line is very useable. Ooms measure 48 from center of reel to end of boom. These are used so you will see marks on them… Though I will say they look very nice. Please refer to photos for visual condition. If you have Big Jons that need a rebuild just give me a shout.
