This is a custom made 100% TIG welded 6061 aluminum 6 rod holder. This rod holder is made to mount to a half toolbox. The type of toolbox that sets down about half the depth of the bed of the truck. Also it is 60 inches wide so it will only fit full size trucks. I will be making 4 rod holders for midsize trucks soon. This holder uses 5 stainless steel supplied bolts to attach to the bottom corner of your half toolbox, the butts of the rods stick under the toolbox but will not touch the bed of the truck. All you have to do is fit the rod holder onto the bottom corner of your toolbox, mark the 5 – 1/4inch holes, drill them with 1/4 inch bit and then bolt rod holder on. Comes with all stainless hardware and a pre drilled flatbar that goes on inside of your toolbox, so that the wall of your toolbox is sandwiched between the rod holder and the flatbar, this creates an extremely strong and rigid fit up for durability. The angle of the holder makes your rod tips end up even with the roof line of your truck for better protection of high dollar rods, also comes with a black plastic coated cable that loops over top of reels and attaches back to holder to secure rods and reels from coming out of the holder, can be locked for security.
