Rod Rack for Truck Truck Mounted Rod Holder

This item is Backordered until July. This Rod Rack was designed after we received a special request from two charter boat captains to build them custom rod holders for their trucks. One of the Captains installed 2 Racks and is able to take 18 rods between the two different boats he runs. This saves him time and frustration by not having to deal with broken and tangled rods. It had to hold 80s and 50s along with 30s and spinning reels and occasionally 130s. Ease of installation and removal. Strong, durable, and easy to load. It had to look good. Fit a full-size truck bed. Overall width is 68 inches and will fit trucks with inside bed widths of 58 inches to 63 inches. Sizes for smaller trucks now available. We took the basic style rod holder and made it more robust. ¼ inch 6061 T6 Aluminum angle with a full length of ¼ inch x 2 inch flat bar welded to the bottom. Securely welded NINE 11-inch tall rod holders with gimble pins. Two aluminum blocks with machined slots to fit under bed gunwale for a solid fit. The simplicity of this style of mounting allows the rod rack to be mounted any where in the bed –front, back, middle– it doesnt matter. Hardware consists of 2 Stainless Steel bolts, washers, and nuts. The gimble pins are Stainless Steel also. Rod holders have precision-machined UHMW sleeves on top to help prevent Chaffing on rod handles. Powder Coated in-house with a silver/black textured metallic paint for a durable finish.
