No marking to indicate the maker on the rod or carrier. This one of the nicest condition fly rod I have seen in a long time – finish on the bamboo is great – it is octagonal shape- all the eyes are there and firm or tight to the rod – it has one extra tip section- it does have sign of use on the handle and the eyes – overall great shape – wooden holder never seen one like this one – (IT COULD BE HOME MADE) but a great idea if it is – eyes set down it the slots nicely – it is a nice way to carry the rod in the back country or just storage – only thing I would do is put screws on the end caps to hold better. LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PICTURES FOR CONDITION AND ANY DEFECTS. This is a local estate sale find and I have not attempted to clean, buff or oil it in any way. Scuffs and scratches present.
